Neither the Warren Commission nor anyone else ever established a motive for Oswald to have murdered President Kennedy. So the no-conspiracy theorists are left with the lame surmise that Oswald did it in a desperate attempt to be famous. But to be famous for doing something, one must of course own the act--which Oswald never did. On the contrary, he denied shooting Kennedy (or anyone else), and declared "I'm a patsy!"
